The Livingston Sunrise Rotary Club is proud to sponsor the 2010 Brighton
Independence Day Parade on Monday, July 5th. We invite you to help make this parade the biggest and best ever! Featured in the parade are veterans, businesses, floats, pets, churches, service organizations, scouts,
antique vehicles, clowns and much more.
If your group, business or family would like to be in the parade, fill out this registration form, sign the waiver, and send it to the address indicated below.
The parade will begin at the BECC (old Scranton School) at the corner of Main and Church Streets at 10:00 AM sharp. Plan on arriving at BECC parking lot to register your group no later than 9:30 AM. The parade will proceed west on Main Street to 7th Street, then south on 7th Street to end at the Brighton High School
parking lot.
Due to the danger of children running into the street, no objects (including candy) may be thrown to spectators. You may, however, walk along the curb and distribute “freebies”.
In order to offset the expenses of the parade, it is necessary for
the club to charge entry fees as follows:
- Political Candidates or Campaigns $100
- Businesses $35
- Vendors (Must have valid City Permit!) $35
- Private Individuals and Non-Profit Org. No Charge
